At LeadsBlue, we respect your privacy. The LeadsBlue Email Finder Chrome extension is designed to work entirely within your browser, with minimal permissions.
What the extension does
- Scans the current page only when you click the “Scan Current Page” button.
- Finds publicly visible email addresses in page text and
mailto:links. - Lets you copy results or export them as CSV locally.
- Provides a Pattern Helper to generate likely corporate email formats (no verification).
- Offers a Get Full List at LeadsBlue link that opens our website with UTM tracking parameters.
What the extension does not do
- ❌ It does not collect, store, or transmit your browsing data.
- ❌ It does not run automatically in the background.
- ❌ It does not scrape social networks (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, etc.).
- ❌ It does not send any information to LeadsBlue servers.
All actions happen locally inside your browser.
Permissions used
- activeTab – so the extension can access the page only when you click the button.
- scripting – to run a small script that extracts email addresses from the visible page text.
No additional permissions are requested.

When you click Get Full List at LeadsBlue, we open a new tab to https://leadsblue.com with UTM parameters (and the current domain when available). This is the only time you leave the extension.
